    August 20, 2015 - Vermelho rubi.
    Frutas vermelhas, morango, cereja.
    Amadeirado, cedro, baunilha.

January 17, 2015 - New World Blind Tasting Group $25+ (Bin 75): Darker core with some clarity, dull violet rim; almost seemed corked on the nose initially but that wasn't quite right- wood tannin?, surprised how tannic and dry the palate was, dense structure, angular tannin, some vanilla cream and berries on the finish; hard to figure this was N. Rhone especially the same bottle that was so Burgundian in previous tastings, I hope this is just bottle variation.

April 5, 2014 - See through dark carmine; nose of sour red fruit, sweet meaty cherry, floral, delicate, and pure, no black pepper; palate is lighter and focused like Burgundy with nice tension acidity and soft tannin, sweet fruit is on the red side of the spectrum with lots of sour cherry; if tasting blind I would have gone to Burgundy (Morey St. Denis) 95% of the time; a really deft touch for Syrah and Crozes; poured next to the Tournon from Chapoutier in Australia which was more like N. Rhone than this though you can't say the Sorrel wasn't really delicious.

May 3, 2013 - Ruby purple; ripe blue and red fruit on the nose and palate in a structure and acidity more suited to Burgundy, delicious, a little pepper, extremely drinkable.

April 20, 2013 - Ruby purple with low concentration; nose of crushed dusty rock, floral, peony, medicinal, pure and pinot like, not the olive tapenade style you expect from Crozes, should open with more air; soft elegant palate, not dissimilar to Burgundy, satisfying red fruit, plush though firm structure, not tannic, fresh; this will improve with a few more years of age.
