  August 11, 2022 - Nice wine. Although it wasn't jammy, it has, in the bouquet, that New World punch. It's a clean sort of pinot. I didn't get any bitterness or sous-bois. But there is nice fruit on the palate, and an active nose.

  November 22, 2019 - I remain puzzled by the CT comments worrying about this being past peak. Another well-stored bottle and another winner. The restrained, slightly tart fruit takes a backseat here. Herbs, tobacco and smoke. Some florality and lift as well. Not a fruit bomb for sure, but the complexity and balance really reward here.

  November 6, 2019 - Cherry/Strawberry with a touch of earth on the nose. Still has good acidity but felt the finish is starting to fade especially after about 30-45 mins in the glass. Agree with previous poster and would recommend drinking within the next 6-9 months, if not sooner.

  December 22, 2018 - Prior bottle was almost exactly 20 months ago and this wine has improved nearly exactly as I'd hoped, fully justifying my initial review. Cherry, floral and earthy vanilla notes on the nose. Medium bodied with red cherry upfront, retaining very nice brightness. Develops additional density and roundness through the middle and adding black cherry and just a touch of plum. Finishes with slightly tart acidity, mineral and earth notes. The tannins are fine grained and while it retains acidity, the balance has improved tremendously from the prior bottle. Overall, I would say this wine has opened up through the middle and the balance and general integration between the fruit and acidity/tannins is where this wine has made the greatest strides. Feels much more harmonious now that the acidity and structure adds contrast, rather than snap and dryness. Feels like this is peak, but should be able to hold this level for at least another 12-18 months with additional life beyond, but drink this wine over the next two years to get the most out of it.
