May 19, 2022 - Tannin fully resolved and fruit fading. Mature Burgundy. Pleasant wine, but nothing special, and not worth the price tag.
October 26, 2021 - Nez monodimensionnel avec de la framboise et des notes fumées. Bouche assez décevante, raide, avec une finale sèche.
Bon mais pas plus. J'en attendais plus compte-tenu du millésime.
August 14, 2020 - Very solid bourgogne that had dark fruit, earth and minerals. Good core fruit and density. Drinking well.
August 7, 2020 - Rather horrible. Bottle was tainted with VA.
September 17, 2017 - showing a lot better this time, red fruits and fine grained tannin, still needs 5 years or a long decant
June 6, 2017 - PNP. Cork intact wet 1/4th way up. Nose has sous bois and cherry. Swishing has both acid and tannin structure, but there is enough concentration to keep up. Sipping confirms density of this one, with good polish and slightly tannic finish. Plenty of time ahead and will continue to evolve positively I think.
March 23, 2017 - Hard, unpleasant wine, despite the 05 vintage. No good.
August 27, 2016 - still closed, you have to look a long way down the well to see any fruit in this wine, decanted for 2 plus hours and still dumb, try again in ten years
February 8, 2015 - Tasted several bottles when just released and now dissappointed to see they have just turned more dark and dense with ageing and the tanins are a bit too harsh(fruit is playing second violin here). Is it still in a closed phase ? No sign of it has turned over the hill so guess so. Masculine style of wine build strong, long and intense mainly black fruit. Nose is very good and complex.
May 2, 2014 - OK, but the tannins are a little sharp on the finish.
