February 10, 2023 - @ Casa Dani NYC. Probably too young but already delicious with a beautiful deep amber hue, forest honey, rounded 97 Octane petrol notes coaxed out after some swirling, it would’ve been more complex 10 years down the road but hard to resist today.

June 28, 2022 - Château La Conseillante dinner & Kabinett tasting (Groot-Ammers, Netherlands): AP 12 12. Half bottle. Rich grapefruit, passion fruit, electric acidity, incredible drive and energy for 2011, concentrated palate, almost Auslese weight but a very precise Spätlese in style.
November 25, 2021 - Sense of energy and vitality compared to 2012. Petrol aromatics strong, pure and good acidity on palate.
March 6, 2021 - PNP into Zalto Burgundy glass (“Leaf” day): Medium golden to the eyes.
So much details on the fruits with stone fruits from apricots, peaches, honey, beeswax, white florals.
Penetrating acidity and minerality is the only way to describe this - very fine boned and ultra ethereal.
95 points easy.
Second round, 1 hour upon opening: even riper set of fruits.
February 3, 2021 - First bottle of a case purchased upon release. We gave it a couple of hours to slow-ox and open up. This is a fantastic wine that is just starting to show the early signs of maturity...a weightless and graceful spatlese that does that Mosel magic trick of combining a sense of vibrancy and electricity with the deeper honeyed tropical notes from the ripe fruit. We were expecting good things and our expectations were exceeded. Excellent pairing with moderately spicy green curry.
December 5, 2020 - Great concentrarion of ripe fruit that needs some more time in bottle to resolve itself. Wish this had a bit more acidity. Will revisit in a couple of years but given the acid profile I don't see keeping this too long
