May 28, 2017 - An excellent 2000 from the Medoc. Very well achieved because it has an excellent equilibrium between concentration, maturity and freshness (Cabernet Sauvignon!). Very pleasent to drink now though still young. The difference with grand crus classes is in the length which is "only" very good.
    Superb value for money

November 23, 2016 - Earthy, loamy, and mature aromas of black raspberries and pencil shavings. Mid-to-full bodied, smooth, and juicy, with savory, earthy tones that grow in the glass. Turns a touch spicy before picking up olives on the finish. Laid back.

April 28, 2014 - Cru Bourgeois from 2000 - most of the 2000 wines are over their peak - not so this Tour de Pez; medium body with ruby color; nose still fruity and fine; Very good and round taste with cherries and blackberrys and a little bit graphite; I think the wine is at its peak; drink the next 2-3 years

October 3, 2012 - Nice classic Bordeaux with medium body; opened shortly before drinking, improved over time but too young to drink, good potential to improve; would not agree with communities drinker window.

April 9, 2012 - The wine has a brilliant medium red colour. The bouquet has notes of cassis, cedar, some fennel and a little mocca. On the palate it is quite refreshing with fine tannins but still a lot of potential for a long live. Overall it has a medium body but it is quite long.
This is a very good bordeaux with a decent PQR.
Drank from a magnum with Steak Diane (Filet mignon with fois gras) for easter.
