March 8, 2024 - Very light in color despite its age. Beautiful nose. This has definitely integrated and become more drinkable over time although the alcohol is noticeable and a bit out of balance.

June 27, 2023 - This might disappoint traditional Gewurz fans for lacking the big spicy Estee Lauder perfume nose, but that's exactly why I liked it. Graceful with Asian pear, tangerine and very subtle spices.

June 15, 2022 - B This is the L 170 which is a blend of two vineyards. Quite dry and with lovely spice and floral notes on the nose. In the mouth it has even more spice and with the acids allowing a Long finish. Simply lovely. It can probably go for another year or so but is perfect now. I'm glad I have one more bottle.

December 28, 2019 - Aromatic. Rose petals, lychee, Asian pear and anise aromas and flavors. Long, soft dry finish with a hint of white pepper. Nice wine. Served with smoked turkey.
