    October 29, 2019 - 5/12, vg cork.
Pale/medium garnet core, wide pale garnet/mahogany rim. Nose slightly reticent, red fruit, soil, sous-bois, spice. Medium bodied, red fruit, a fair amount of soil, some mulch, soft, supple tannins, fresh acidity, medium/good length finish. Very good, drinking well.

February 7, 2018 - 3/12. Good cork. Pale garnet core, wide pale mahogany rim. Nose is not overly complex but open for business with attractive mainly red-toned (cherry) fruit, some soil, touch of herb. Medium bodied, this has come on nicely with attractive soft, round tannins, red-toned fruit, fresh acidity, medium/good length harmonious finish with a touch of white pepper. Very good, mature Savigny - now and perhaps for the next 5 years.
