August 3, 2023 - This was served with a quick decant from a neck fill bottle. Very rich plum, blueberry jam, oak and vanilla. Just falls into the trap of being over manipulated as was common practice at this time in Napa.

December 24, 2020 - Ruby. Plums but also cherries. Fruit was almost jammy, actually a little too much so in my opinion.

February 19, 2012 - more generous and elegant than the '08 Oakville. already accessible. nose a bit primary but offers up notes of blackberries, black cherries and vanilla. more fruit forward on the palate as well than the Oakville. fairly complex and lively. fairly bright acidity with fine grain tannin structure. medium plus finish. 92+pts
