December 25, 2020 - Deep dark and a little bit of lusciousness. Cassis, berries and pencil. Then it broods to a lovely, long fading finish

    December 24, 2020 - Deep dark red.
Ripe red berries, cassis, pencil shavings, lightly fragrant rather than super expressive.
Bright fruit, lots of red berry amongst the cassis, some boysenberry and violet. Silky smooth, very evenly weighted, finishes a little short but with beautifully refined tannins, soft but persistent. This is drinking beautifully, seems to have enough complexity to pair the fruit, and decent structure, for an average year this is a very well balanced wine. Delicious drinking.

    December 5, 2020 - (Bordeaux 2002 tasting)
Subtle and minerally nose. Gravel and iron. Pencil shavings. Dark fruit with a hint of raspberry. Tertiary tobacco notes. Appealing.
Medium-fullish, still tannic palate. A bit dryish. Cedar, ink, classic and very elegant balance. Freshness.
More austere than Mouton, which we preferred slightly. The tannins in Latour could benefit from further cellaring, but the fruit risks fading.

December 5, 2020 - Dinner at Basilica at Regent Hotel in Singapore with family & friends (5 total under SG COVID rules). Deep garnet color, with a wonderful nose of lead pencil, cassis, and crushed berries. Very refined taste, medium bodied, with smooth, rounded tannins, which improved through the dinner. Excellent wine, ready for drinking. Thoroughly enjoyable!
