    November 22, 2023 - Still has a lot of acidity and has turned from that bright citrus it usually has young to a bit more stone fruit. A little more body and has for lack of a better description “salinity” or “ocean air” type feel. We have had this every two years since release and this is the best it’s showed since the first two times we tasted since release.

    June 9, 2018 - Couleur funky jaune foncé tirant sur le vert. Presque fluo!!
    Assez exotique au nez; ananas++
    Bouche complexe, exotique, beau bois intégré.
    Équilibré et long, mais un peu trop exotique à ce que je m'attendais..

    August 6, 2017 - Meyer lemon, granny smith apple, pear and a touch of honeysuckle. Last of three bottles. Great combination between fruit and oak. Time to drink up.

    January 3, 2017 - Pale golden color, with pungent aromas of green apple, apricot and citrus. Good balance between acidity and oak, with fruit predominating. Great balance. Long finish with complexity. Overall an excellent CA chardonnay. Plenty of life left in this, but its probably at its peak.

    November 26, 2016 - Second Judgment of Madrid, Still an Aficionados' Matter (Restaurante Garcia de la Navarra - Madrid): Only bottle that has repeated in the judgements.
    Time has played in its favor, less angular and acid in the mouth and more mellow and floral on the nose. Still unremarkable but a better potential was appreciated.
    From occupying the last position two years ago to be placed in the middle of the ranking (4th)

    La única botella que ha repetido en los Juicios celebrados.
    El tiempo ha jugado a su favor, menos angular y ácida en boca y más melosa y floral en nariz. Sigue sin destacar pero se apreció un mejor potencial.
    De ocupar la última posición hace dos años a situarse en el medio de la tabla (4a)

    August 21, 2016 - Fast Times at the Frey's: The nose is better than the palate, but the palate does improve with 30 minutes in glass. Tropical fruit, mango, bubble gum. The palate is rather flabby.

    August 20, 2016 - Fast Times at the Frey's: Lioght medium gold color. Drank a 2.5oz pour over 40 minutes. Drank this side by side with a '08 Kistler Durell. I've had this wine enough times now that I should be able to identify it in my sleep. The nose is tropical, though not overly so, oak and spice. The palate is tropical too, pineapple, melon, round, and some sharpness to the oak on the finish at time. I thought this was a tad flabby in the mid palate, though later I didn't notice it as much.
