June 25, 2021 - Long and smooth…tannins sweet and integrated. Dark black fruits with tar, graphite and smoke. Delicious
December 10, 2017 - Purple with a red rim. The nose on this put on a show throughout the night. Started off high intensity black fruits menthol and some road tar. With some time smoke, graphite and my personal favorite forest floor took center stage. In the mouth this was thick and rich with more black fruit and some spice. The tannins are perfectly integrated and sweet. The 09's seem to be right in my wheelhouse right now. Delicious.
July 4, 2015 - Beautiful dark red color. Nose was a bit muted. Had some blackberry, cherry, tobacco. Palate was all over in a good way. Very complexed. Tannins where great and had a very long finish. If the nose was better this would have been above 95.
December 27, 2013 - Drank over three days. Awesome nose with plums, coffee, mint, and berries. The palate is striking for its clean acidity and bright red, juicy fruit. Seamless and mouthwatering. I am partial to the deeper, darker fruit of the sigaro but I really like this as well.
September 29, 2013 - I've been drinking a lot of Fairchild lately and last night I had dinner with someone whose love for these wines started at the same time as mine so Fairchild it was again. This bottle had the most stunning nose not only of any Fairchild I've ever had but of any wine this year. Hands down. A mix of potpourri, vanilla, purple flowers and a hint of smoke. The nose did not change for an hour and a half after an hour decant. The palate was bright, fresh and medium in weight with fresh plums and hints of baking spices. Velvet in feel. If the palate had held up to the nose this wine would've cracked my top ten ever. Sadly it did not. A great wine none the less.

November 7, 2012 - Great fruit. Dark blackberries, currant, and vanilla. Nice long smooth finish with round finish.

April 15, 2012 - Decanted 4 hours , nice deep purple pour with a nice nose, It's very balanced with red and blue fruits , a nice finish but not long still very young will wait 2 to 3 years to try another. Overall nice wine ,I just wish the finish was longer .
