  November 23, 2021 - Coravin from magnum. Delicious signature smokey Saumur nose. Tobacco and grassy notes followed by pure and fresh cranberry fruit. Nice spine of acidity. Subtle tannins and medium body. In a beautiful window now.

  November 2, 2018 - 1 hr decant, so I'm thinking CA cab Franc, as this, while very flavorful and deeply pitched while somewhat good, the Loire characteristics were missing, no green leaf tobacco, though there was a deeper tobacco element. The requisite acid was missing, leaving a dull but flavorful wine. Hopefully just the year in evidence.

  July 21, 2018 - Restaurant La Promenade at le Petit-Pressigny: Did not know the red wines of this domaine, a good choice with the duck. Very elegant wine, fine tannins, red fruit (cherries), with good structure.
