January 19, 2015 - I had forgotten about this wine, at 13 years old, I was not expecting much, my luck with older Red Shoulder's has been mixed. It didn't help that the cork crumbled when I tried to pull it, needing to resort to the twin prong puller to get it out. I didn't expect much. What a surprise. Still young, fresh, almost effervescent at the start. Very well balanced, this was a fantastic wine and not on the decline as a I feared. My only bottle, but what a great surprise.

July 18, 2011 - Very rich, ripe, thick, golden yellow, pineapple, tangerine, acid, guessing this is at it's peak.
June 6, 2011 - Spicy and thick. Nice color. Good fruit. Definitely not over the hill

January 3, 2011 - Certainly not over the hill. Beautifully mature - lots of acidity and honeyed fruit on the nose. Enjoyable finish.
March 20, 2010 - Not over the hill - still fresh, citrus with plenty of acidity. A most pleasant surprise.

December 28, 2007 - Still good but slowly falling into the inevitable abyss....drink now and definately enjoy. Chill hard to remove early "heavy" feel.
