May 11, 2018 - Consistent with previous tasting note.

December 24, 2017 - Slow-oxed for an hour. In the glass, deep, opaque red. On the nose, macerated cherries and damp wood. On the palate, basically kirsch without the alcoholic notes. If you're expecting burgundy, look elsewhere; if you're expecting RRV pinot, also look elsewhere. To me, this isn't really recognizable as pinot noir. If you're willing to look past that, and take it for what it is, an extremely fruit forward wine with a bit of age, then there is enjoyment to be had here. Worked perfectly well as an accompaniment to the holiday ham.

March 1, 2017 - Not really my style...to me the cherry is overwhelming, but the other three voted it WOTN.

September 4, 2014 - Needs at least an hour to open up. Not a bad one, just not my style of Pinot these days. Pinot turned up to 11. Thick, lots of dark fruit, some heat on the finish.

May 2, 2014 - Wow, amazeballs. As another viewer wrote, this is one for the books. My first Sanguis Pinot, which is funny considering how much of their other wine I have had, and loved. The whole group was blown away. Enjoyed after a 3 hour decant and drank at slightly warmer than cellar temp.
