-med acidity, med weight/concentration, faint red fruits and licorice, medicinal, med- tannins

May 18, 2014 - Not decanted, consumed over ~2 hours. Pretty consistent with my note from 2/14/2014 - dark, dense, and structured for a grenache at this price point. A little more oak showing than I remember, perhaps, but it wasn't too distracting.

April 30, 2014 - I must not have made tasting notes when I last had this, but luckily I remembered how much I liked it and snapped some up again when it became available. This is lip-smacking stuff, right down the gullet grenache, great on a weeknight. Last night had it with lamb chops, but you could go all kinds of ways with it. Strawberry, a little spice, smokiness. I should buy more!
