  April 27, 2019 - Cherry cola and plum flavors up front, shifting to a nice oakiness, with pretty acidic finish. (Pop and pour perhaps to blame for the latter.) Ruby red color starting to get brickish on the edge. Nice, but not spectacular. After reading the other reviews, perhaps left this on in the cellar too long.

  November 24, 2015 - Displays the classic RRV cherry-cola flavor, but there is so much more going on: a healthy dose of Chinese five spice, tobacco and wild berries. Really well-rounded and in a great drinking window now.
