October 24, 2013 - Peach, slight spice over cream and herbs. In the mouth slight peach, clean, waxy textured and mineral notes, slight warm spice on the finish. Pleasant

March 3, 2013 - lovely tropical fruit freshness.

January 27, 2013 - So yeah. I love verdelho/verdejo as a general rule. Nothing like a great Rueda. And this is nothing like a great Rueda. Very modern (smells like inoculated aromatic yeasts, added acid and cold fermentation), noticeably high ABV on the aroma & palate (nail polish, even, though no VA). Not offensively fruited (green apple, herbs, apricot), but just not delicious and vivacious like I wanted. A good try, but not a re-buy. Maybe the Alentejo is not suited to growing verdelho.
