  October 18, 2013 - CT Texas VI - Return to San Antonio; 10/18/2013-10/19/2013 (San Antonio): Signature RRV nose of bright cherry, raspberry and clove. On the palate, very clean with pie cherry, clove, and strawberry, Finishes very clean with nice acidity. Should age quite nicely.

  June 30, 2013 - Nice balance of fruit and acidity. Raspberry, cherry, and strawberry on the nose. Smooth with a clean finish. Not as ripe as some other RRV Pinot which was a nice change.

  January 17, 2013 - The Red Whale California Pinot Tasting (The Jackson Arms): Very RRV nose of blood orange, christmas spice and dark cherry. Someone picked up cherry cola as well as a "dark room" smell (this blew off on day 2). Nice and lush. Once can tell this is well made but it needs some time to come together.

  August 19, 2012 - Opened too young but wanted to check the style. Very well made. Cooler tones of black cherry and dark plum. Nice complexity with slightly green tannins (some stem?) and acidity. I can see this being special in 5 years. 91+
