Community Tasting Notes 2

  • Nathan NZ Likes this wine: 90 points

October 7, 2018 - According to poggio’s website this is 100% Petit Verdot, nice wine well aged and good balance, very dry with earthy leathery tones.

  • DTWOB Likes this wine: 93 points

    September 27, 2015 - 50/50 Sangiovese/Merlot blend from Tuscany's Poffio Bonelli. Quite nice!
Complexity, balance and a long silky finish deliver a fantastic taste experience. Profound nose of dark fruit, spice and cured meat. Currant, blackberries, raisins and spice(s) with soft tannins and well integrated heat. Each sip presents a new surprise to discover. The only thing that could make the experience better would to be in Tuscany to open the bottle.
