May 18, 2019 - Drank as part of a 12+ bottle dinner party. This wine hit on all cylinders: nose, palate and finish. Very well balanced, this was among the very best of the night with several of the group having it as their WOTN.
September 26, 2016 - Not a great showing tonight. Color is a bit advanced considering this is from 2005. The nose started out pretty interesting, but eventually shut down a bit, with plum, truffle, green pepper, licorice, and espresso. A bit disjointed on the palate. Tannins are too prominent and are drying on the finish. Bold and powerful on the palate. Nice length on the finish, but with a hint of bitterness. After reading others' notes, I was hopeful but have to say that I was disappointed.

May 14, 2016 - Plenty to like here, with pure cherry and plum notes playing with a touch of oak spice and a bit of earth.
November 21, 2015 - I think this is an amazing wine representing the terroir of Boudreaux. I love everything about this wine and will drink more if I get the chance.
