November 26, 2021 - Screwcap, 14.5% alc. Dark black–red. Really bright at the rim, youthful.
Fruity and savoury on the nose, yet I wouldn’t say sweet-fruited.
Blueberry and blackberry, chocolate, cherry, vanilla, sausage, and nutty oak.
The palate is more restrained and “old world” like; more about sandy tannins and acid than fruit, but the fruit is there in the background and shows up on the moderate length, savoury edged, finish.
Opinion: drinks well but it seems to be at an in-between phase at present. -

May 27, 2020 - Really into the drinking zone here. Savoury and spicy with dark red and black fruits. Lovely wine.

March 5, 2017 - Concentrated and rich dark berries with some blueberry on the nose. Only just starting to evolve but it is together and balance is spot on. Savoury mouth filling wine for the long haul. Give 5 years. 95.
