September 21, 2018 - One hour decant. Deep dark ruby color. Plum, ripe red cherry, moss, rice crisp-filled milk chocolate and sunflower on the nose. Smooth, grippy palate with good acidity. Firm, but low intensity tannins on the medium long finish.

February 23, 2018 - Très moderne et vanillé, bien fait mais pas mon style

November 13, 2017 - 2017 Grands Crus Classes of St. Emilion, a pleasant surprise given the vintage, nose of dark fruit, dusty gravel road, forest floor, same on the palate, medium body, tasty, almost mouth filling fruit, well done, enjoy the next 7 years, and a long finish.

April 17, 2016 - MW Institute 2011 Bordeaux Tasting: Plum, musk and oak aromas. The palate is gentle, with the tannins showing up towards the mid-palate. Not quite sure where this will go, but might be a good medium term prospect.

January 20, 2016 - Institute of Masters of Wine - 2011 Bdx Tasting (Hyatt, San Francisco): (a Rolland wine)
Deeply concentrated ruby. Ripe chocolate-covered cassis (merlot) notes, ripe blueberry, manure. Elevated tannins. Very good.
