June 10, 2012 - Awesome rose. Slightly tart on the attack with a slightly sweet finish, and smooth strawberry fruit throughout. Great pairing with grilled shrimp.

May 18, 2012 - Brett's Birthday Rose Tasting (Weygandt Wines - Washington, D.C.): Neon strawberry color. Initially, the nose reminded me of a highland single malt scotch, with this kind of caramel, toast and apple. That blew off a bit, and the macintosh apple aroma really came to the forefront. The palate shows tangy acid and sweet fruit, candied cherries and watermelon. I like this, but it lacks the minerality and complexity of some of the other roses in the tasting.
