March 10, 2020 - some serious value packed in this introductory bottle of aged right bank Bordeaux. 1 hour decant. Very distinctive merlot-based with plum, chocolate and some trace vanilla on the nose. decent structure on the palate. fruit somehow feel faded. medium length finish. in the drinking window and may evolve a bit further in the next 3-5 years. outstanding qpr at $33 CDN.

September 16, 2018 - Unexceptional on first pour - but opened up nicely after an hour with ripe rich fruit.

April 11, 2018 - Enjoyed nose. Palette lacked ripe fruit flavours for me and finished with chewy tannins that were a little bitter. Overall I was left feeling neutral about this wine.

April 9, 2017 - Very drinkable. Still young with a deep red colour and no sign of age. A chocolate and raspberry nose and powdery tannins. Palate is soft with good balance but not overly complex. Lacks fruit slightly. Medium length. Would wait a few years to get the best from this wine.
