September 8, 2020 - The composite cork was in good shape after a decade in the bottle. This inexpensive Pinot Noir was consumed over two days. Deep ruby color with no oxidation, clarity medium. Aromas of red raspberry and pomegranate, flavors of dried red fruit compote with glycerine mouth feel and a medium finish. Popped and poured, but this wine really benefited from gentle oxygen since it was much more soft and integrated on day two. A fairly balanced Pinot Noir from the Santa Lucia Highlands. Surprisingly, this Pinot Noir may be an age worthy wine and may have more years of life left. I still have one more bottle of this vintage remaining; I may open it in a month or two to verify my rating.

December 25, 2014 - PnP - drinking very well. I was worried it had gone too long but was pleasantly suprised! Still showing nice fruit and paired great with sauted muscles, crab cakes and cedar plank salmon.

November 24, 2012 - Lots of strawberry and nice fruit. So not an Oregon-style pinot. Yum!

August 17, 2012 - Popped and poured. Nice color. Nose was immediate full of red fruit, cherry, raspberry, strawberry. Medium body, great integration of flavors. A gentle spice component and bright acidity on the finish. Very impressive especially at this QPR. 5,13,15,5=88
