September 23, 2023 - Starts off with notes of red currant
then plum and compote of dried apples

Finish decently sour, somewhat prickly red currant and blackberries
but quickly followed by some rather bitter notes.

The bitter notes where particularly unexpected and slightly confusing.

Overall a bit mixed emotions, somehow not bad but also less than I would have expected.

Maybe this is over its peak already.

    March 20, 2021 - Pol Roger Rose 2004.

August 2, 2020 - A considerable better bottle than the one enjoyed 2 weeks before. Fresh red fruits and a very fresh acidity with a subtle mousse. Still lacks overall complexity but good for what it is

July 20, 2020 - Slowly getting a bit tired. Acidity was still there but the fruits start to appear a bit stale and the oxidation is beginning to be more in the forefront. Still somewhat enjoyable but seems like the best days are behind it

December 31, 2019 - Orange color - much deeper than William Deutz ‘99 also tasted; bready fresh taste, good mousse; a bit restrained in the middle, quite acidic, raspberry in the aftertaste; nice now but probably not for keep, drink now
