July 31, 2006 - A handful of Italians, no Tuscany/Piedmont Allowed (Columbus, OH): Orange marmalade, cotton candy, and almond notes. Delicate, front-heavy fruit flavors. Lighter bodied than expected. A bit sloppy and acid-deficient, but enjoyable.

July 31, 2006 - Italy is more than Tuscany and Piemonte, capiche? (Casa mia, Columbus Ohio): Golden shower colour. Pollen and damp stones on the nose. Very light body, lacey and airy. Nice acids well-balanced with delicate sweetness. Floral notes, slight macadamia fat. A bit of a sticky finish with lingers the nut ntoes, but turns bitter. Very enjoyable and blossoms when used traditionally with biscuits.
