March 29, 2017 - Consistent profile compared to the last bottle from a year ago. Still witch hazel on the nose. One of the most overrated wines I've ever tasted.

February 24, 2016 - This wine was harsh and extremely tannic with a strong alcohol smell on the nose that muted all fruit.

A second bottle was opened and it was exactly the same.

December 31, 2015 - Excellant.. ready now or in a year or two or five!

December 24, 2014 - Had this wine at a friend's holiday dinner. I really liked it. Drank it both before dinner and paired with duck.

August 26, 2014 - This was nice. Now I opened this 3 days ago and ran it through a menu decanter and then had a taste. It's been sealed in the menu decanter for 3 days and that has some effect on the wine itself but it is very good. Tannins still very much intact and present. Fruit is perfect and singing with a great finish that lasts for over 20 seconds. I would like to give another review of a fresh bottle but heck if this is the secret I'll let all my wine sit in the menu decanter sealed for a few days.
