July 28, 2023 - Wonderful purity and minerality here. Loads of mouth-watering acidity. Yeasty bread, apples, citrus, strawberry and chalk. The love and work that this family puts into their wine is evident.
April 7, 2023 - Retail $60. 100% Pinot Noir, 90% 1er Cru Bisseuil, 10% Grand Cru Ambonnay. Disgorged September, 2022. I was in Sonoma for a little over a week and I stopped by Bottle Barn for some refreshments. I immediately was drawn to this bottle as I had just had a tasting with them in Houston a few days prior. Certainly pink (albeit light) in the glass with a bit of an orange hue in the glass with a boatload of red berry fruit: cherry, strawberry, and raspberry. There is also the characteristic yeasty component but the fruit is certainly at the fore. That theme carries over to the palate with a bowlful of fruit, fantastic tartness, and some baked croissant coming in on the mid-palate. Really fantastic.

April 7, 2023 - Pale salmon color. Muted nose and quiet on the palate.
February 16, 2023 - Really loving it. Color is almost rose. Fresh but also full bodied. Just the right bubble count. Lingering taste of yeast and apple.

June 11, 2022 - This is a 1er Cru 80% from 2018, bottled 2019 and disgorged 2021. 100% Pinot Noir, 90% being from Bisseuil, and 10% from Ambonnay. 5g/ml dosage.
TN: Coppery colour. Red apples and patisserie notes on the nose. Medium full bodied with toasty notes, red apple peel and quite lively acidity. Seemed to be more settled on day 2 when it delivered far better balance as was a bit tart on day 1. Think it will improve with bottle age, although not a re-buy for me. From Zalto Universal.
