September 8, 2016 - Mín leið í gegnum Haugen smakkið (Gamla Bíó): Þetta er mikið vín. Held að það sé næstum því nauðsynlegt að hafa mat með þessu víni. Það er það kraftmikið. Gott vín en líklega enn betra með mat. Miðarnir á flöskunni voru mjög furðulegir. Neðri miðinn stílhreinn og klassískur en sá efri ekki í neinu samhengi við þann neðri. Furðulegt.

November 4, 2013 - This medium full wine tastes like it smells. It is fruit forward on the nose, with dark cherry, chocolate and coffee, some leather. On the taste, you are left with a medium to long chocolate cherry finish.

July 6, 2013 - Consistent with previous bottles. Musky, dark, smoky, animal syrah. Not sophisticated, but original and fairly compelling.

August 12, 2012 - Black as the night. Musky, animal nose. There's the same smoky animality on the palate with nice blackberry fruit as well. Not especially complex or elegant, this wine is still quite enthralling in its strange mixture of virility and animality. Definitely worth buying a bottle or two, if not a whole case. Ready to drink, this should hold for 3-4 years.

March 29, 2012 - 100% syrah. Smoky, animal, very masculine style of wine. Clearly seen some oak but it goes well with the syrah. A wine that you want to come back to. Tasted at a fairly generic tasting of wines from the south of France and for me it was the WOTN. Good QPR at around 15 euros.
