June 8, 2018 - This was excellent. 10-ish years seems to be a nice window for this wine. Lots of bread/yeasty components to go along with the apple and citrus flavours with the occasional hint of redder fruits.

December 6, 2015 - Very pale yellow with abundant stream of tiny bubbles with roast hazel nut, pear mixed citrus, spice aromas, and a hint of wet stone aromas .On the palate it shows a cream mousse with pear, raspberry, mandarin orange, lemon, and a kiss of spice aromas with an appealing vein of minerality . Long finish.

April 29, 2015 - Fading quickly. A lot of the bite is gone. Apple flavor no longer crisp and getting a little soft. Yeast components are still present but turning slightly bitter in its old age. Still a decent bubbly but a little like a great boxer past its prime it is getting a little soft around the middle. Drink now.

April 9, 2015 - Slightly past its prime and not the greatest of vintages from these guys. Light lemon and yeast to the nose. Bright green apples up front with a slightly burnt caramel touch. Not bad but this brut is usually a lot more interesting. Stood up well to meatloaf.

December 22, 2013 - Very pale lemony color with small, moderate bubbles. Dry, light and easy to drink. We had it with mild, tasty soft cheeses (hostess didn't remember names), but my sense is that it would pair well with many foods. Refreshing minerality, smooth. This is not one of the toasty, creamy sparklers Donna prefers, but it remains one of our favorites.

June 7, 2013 - Very effervescent and fine mousse. Almost a rose profile (although almost clear in color) with raspberry and ginger notes with a touch of spice.
