  November 28, 2020 - Decanted 45 minutes, definitely opened and deepened over several hours. Red with brick edge in glass. Somewhat muted nose, lively fruit on palate. Moderate richness, dark red fruit, black berry, cherry, raspberry, bit of earth, mineral, light spice. Fruit, acid and a bit of tannin danced nicely, initially edgy and smacking with acid and then becoming balanced, and that elevated the quality of the wine. Nose became more expressive. By end of meal and latter half of bottle I was hooked. Seems to be aging nicely.

  September 15, 2018 - A very pretty and refined Pinot Noir. Enough fruit and richness so as not to be delicate or austere -- but lighter bodied to be sure. Youthfully vibrant acidity. Palate shows depth of flavor with berries, earth, mineral and smoky spice.

  April 4, 2018 - Very light, a bit more tang than fruit. Pretty nose, nice fruit on a light and dancing palate. Clean but short on the finish. Starts better than it finishes, works best with food, drink up.

  December 16, 2016 - PopnPour, tasted over 2 hrs
  -nearly semi-translucent slightly fading ruby purple tinge with minimal bricking
  -very slight reduction blows off, somewhat reserved high-toned dark cherry faint black pepper, trace mature element
  -med acidity gives lift and energy that carries through to the finish, med weight sappy restrained straight forward sour dark cherry and minerality bitter red apple peel, med tannins
  -characteristic 2010 energy, mildly austere and sauvage, while this is starting to turn the corner on maturity it will likely need another year or two to fully unfurl

  August 18, 2016 - Un nez agréable de cerises, avec des nuances de roses. La bouche acidulée, légère, me parait plutôt mince. C'est un vin de finesse, mais qui manque de fond. 86-87 pts
