March 21, 2017 - (Wine Tasting Club) An interesting blend. Blond color, medium legs, no sediment. Violet and lime skin on the nose, light grapefruit flavor. Light body, silky texture, short finish and medium acidity.

April 7, 2013 - Trefethen Tasting (Napa, CA): Sulphur coming on strong on the nose. Quite sweet. Decent mineral quality but quite round. Not particularly steely, but approachable as well.

December 9, 2012 - Better colder. As it warms up, it becomes angular.

December 8, 2012 - Holiday Party (Gail and Steph's, Mpls, MN): Medium light gold color. Drank 1 glass. There is some minerality to the nose and palate, modestly oaky, light lemon and citrus. The palate was fairly light, some sharp edges and bitterness on the brief finish. 86-87pts.

November 25, 2012 - not my favorite style of Cali Chard. Too light for me.

November 24, 2012 - Nose: Simple straw and pineappple with oak undertones. Palate: Good acidity with the pineapple showing and apple hints. Clean but fairly short finish. Simple but overall well balanced. Went well with broiled Tilapia.
