December 22, 2021 - Last of 12, opened 30 minutes, attractive and essentially as bottle noted in Jan 20 if with touch more spice and fruit starting to tire, drink. F (17.5).

February 4, 2021 - Double blind. Meaty and nicely ripe with plenty of earth and enough freshness. Clear 1er Cru density, very good now.

February 3, 2021 - Virtual Blinds (Zoom / Chicago): Blind. Terrific boastful complex nose of earthen-black cherry, forrest floor, dried spice and mushrooms. Delicious with evolved and complex fruit that is still full of life. Meaty and rich. An over-performer.

January 31, 2020 - 11th of 12, pnp, perfect level, mostly travelled cork, previously noted at least VG from 2001 - rich ruby, quite dark, glossy, mature rim; sour black cherry, rich liqueur, bit simple; medium bodied, quite silky, quite long, persistent and concentrated, nice ripe, if simple, quality fruit, fully mature but no rush. F (17.5).
