November 12, 2016 - P&P. Great wine, drinking deliciously at peak right now. Lovely perfumed nose of cherry pie. Lush in the mouth, with medium acidity, fine tannins and flavors of black cherry, vanilla and earth. Finishes with a vanilla latte flavor. Quite tasty. Drink now - 2018.

August 25, 2013 - Well, I'd like to provide y'all more detailed tasting notes, but had this yesterday, and spent all of today tasting some Paso cab I have in carboys and harvesting my first vintage from my back yard, mostly Syrah, after five years of battling Raccoons. Anyways, this wine held up to a Denner Ditch Digger, a formidable tasting companion. What's to say? I just remember it has great fruit and balance, smooth. And what, I have more, BOO YAH!

(Saviah Cellars Une Vallee Red Wine Walla Walla Valley) A moderately aromatic, complex wine with wet stone, earth, raspberries, and dried herbs. The palate is elegant and understated with a plush, textured mouthfeel and a lingering finish. Where many are using a hammer, Richard Funk is using a scalpel. 56% Cabernet Sauvignon (Pepper Bridge and McClellan Vineyards), 38% Merlot (Anna Marie and Seven Hills Vineyards), 6% Cabernet Franc (Watermill Estate and Bacchus Vineyards). Aged 17 months in French oak (60% new). 388 cases produced. Sample provided by winery.
