August 20, 2020 - good depth and balance. More structured than fruit forward.
May 4, 2016 - In a good spot for drinking now. Terrific with grilled steak
August 10, 2014 - 90-91
$30 or under? wow! You high end CdP lovers might find this, "thin," but in it's own right, it's delicious and deserving for the price.
15% abv rears it's head on the nose but give it some time and you have a bright velvety mouth with tannins that evaporate off the tongue leaving a dry tea like finish.
medium body. red cherry, ripe raspberry, and even a hint of blueberry. i want to kick myself for saying it, but fresh Tennis Ball on the nose and palate.
Salty Bacon. juniper.
not gamey or overly old world, but this is a delicious entry level, though maybe not the most characteristic CdP.
May 8, 2014 - Made up, innocuous oaky, thin, some bouquet, no palate, with drying out tannin to boot. I can believe that RP gave this a 91, since he has pretty much lost it, but can't believe the other reviewers like this. If this is a 92 the top CDPs are 250 point wines!
March 8, 2014 - A very good wine. Rich grenache flavor full of red and black berries with a hint of spice. Oddly, it wasn't quite as good the second day (sealed with a Vacu Vin overnight.)
March 2, 2014 - Can't add anything to Jeff Leve's review, he nailed it. Bonnie really enjoyed this wine, as did I.
January 20, 2014 - Cheap CdP. Intense underripe fruits. Some smoke/ash
May 31, 2013 - Silky, soft, elegant and refined, the wine is polished, fresh, round and ripe, plus it’s already delivering much of its charms.
