May 10, 2022 - Opened this bottle on my birthday, May 10 2022. For a 17 year old wine, it is still quite fruity! The nose had aromas of cassis/currants with a little bit of allspice in the back. The palate was smooth, with just a hint of tannins, and a taste of figs and plums very prevalent. Finish was not very long, but long enough to enjoy. Highly recommend consuming now, but can still cellar for 2-3 years more if you like.
