Community Tasting Notes 7

October 25, 2018 - Hmmm... seems premoxed, unfortunately. It's drinkable, but is far more advanced than I thought it would be. Deep golden, with notes of apple and lots of nuttiness. It's ok, but fairly disappointing.

    July 14, 2018 - A masculine white, quite extraordinary

December 24, 2017 - Crisp with slight malolactic notes

October 25, 2016 - No personality. Carmel notes and that's about all.

October 9, 2015 - Medium yellow-gold in color and offering nothing more than muted aromas and flavors, this village-level white Burgundy has not held up well. While not prematurely oxidized or otherwise flawed, it simply does not offer the depth of fruit and minerality that would be expected from a 5-year-old Louis Latour Chassagne-Montrachet bottling. Medium-bodied and with some citrus, pear and wet stone notes, it becomes silent in the middle and closes short. Perhaps an "off" bottle...perhaps not. Drink now.
