October 3, 2021 - Nose is pleasant but not too strong. The mouth is long-lasting, full bodied, red and blue fruit, pepper, alcohol not fully integrated.
February 13, 2021 - On the nose: red fruit rose, licorice, not too persistent. Mouth:red fruit, mineral undertones, medium body, slight bitterness on the front of the mouth, bay leaf, persistent balsamic notes
June 20, 2020 - Disregard my prior notes - this bottle (our last) was really quite good. Blackberry with a touch of blue on the nose and palate. Mouth-filling flavors with a medium-long finish. Perfect with grilled burgers.
November 5, 2017 - Amazing pepper spice. I don't remember having one this pronounced before. Very nice.
August 25, 2017 - Drink up - this is fading fast.
November 12, 2015 - Black and blue fruit with faint notes of pepper on the nose and palate. No tannins to speak of at this point, so soft and even a little flabby on the finish. Drink up, this one seems near the end.
