May 3, 2014 - Way too hot. There was a nice pinot hidden underneath the alcool, had to cool it down. Alcool still overshadowed the fresh fruit this pinot was trying to provide.

November 27, 2012 - Very nice cuvee of Central California coast vineyards. Elegant body but with some nice rich red cherry flavors. Drinking very nicely right now. Structure is balanced and fruit is vibrant.

September 20, 2012 - A seductive bouquet followed by a load of rich fruit that lingers a bit before slowly fading away. The tannins are simple and smooth. Quite a good bottle for the price!

June 6, 2012 - I liked this wine but I don't think it is Calera at its best (that is Ryan Vineyard to me). This wine is a riper, fruitier style with soft tannins, broad midpalate and loads of fruit in the mouth. I generally prefer a more supple build to the mouth feel but for CA Pinot fans this will be a winner. I enjoyed with burgers which worked well.
