    March 11, 2016 - Crimson in the glass. Cherries and red fruit on the nose with hints of herbal tea and wood. Good acidity in the mouth, red berries, with some raisin and leather/tobacco. Almost medium finish. Decent Rosso but not too complex and bit higher acidity than what I like.

    November 19, 2013 - Without Food: Lovely soft fruit (almost raisiny) on the nose. Light red color. Some bright fruit, plenty of acidity, and medium to light body with some tannic pucker at end. Some tobacco. Light weight in the mouth despite some strong flavors. Could have more balance and harmony between elements so weight matched flavor. Could use more length.

    With Bolognese Pasta: Food softened some of the edges, though more tannin that I expected for the medium-light mouthfeel. Would have benefitted from longer to breathe as alcohol esthers were adding slight harsh tinge to wine that would otherwise have nice balance of acidic/tannin with the fat in the food.

    Not an amazing QPR, except for that region.
