June 27, 2015 - Transparent garnet, powerful nose of berry and camphor. Smooth fruit with soft tannins on the palate. Medium to long finish.

January 4, 2015 - This bottle lends some luster to efforts to make nebbiolo more widely used in the U.S. Pale transparent garnet. Fruity and nervy at the same time. Subdued, but present, tannins. Good acidity. Worth seeking out.

September 13, 2014 - Beautiful nose. Very easy to drink, light side with no harsh tannins. Light color with good acidity. Nice texture not too powerful.

November 16, 2013 - Opened the bottle a couple of hours before drinking. Good cork, barely colored. In the glass, had that deceptively light nebbiolo color in the Piemontese fashion. Sweet fruit, nice acidity, noticeable but not objectionable level of tannin. Very interesting styling for this grape. Glad to see it gain more traction in California vineyards.
