November 13, 2021 - An elegant, balanced wine. I have little experience with Rieslings, but this was very nice -- some petrol and beeswax. A bit of honey and pineapple. Gently sweet -- goes well with food.

February 13, 2016 - 2002 is one of my favorites for current drinking and this wine shows why. Still lots of primary tension but the fruit is rounder and more secondary and the sugars are moderating. Long and very more-ish.

February 27, 2008 - Light yellow-green colour. A little quiet on the nose at first, but it opens with time to show lovely flavours of apple, flowers and faint petrol notes with intense minerality that's very prominent after a day in the fridge. Gorgeous on the palate - medium bodied and very elegant with plenty of acidity, lovely seamless flavours of apple, white fruits, lime and minerals and a long, clean finish.

March 25, 2006 - Great Mosel Spätlese. Very slatey, with some faint petrol notes indicating first development. Very fine intensity, well-integrated sweetness and really impressive length. Great wine.
