  January 12, 2023 - Yes this is a very old wine but still going strong and right in wheelhouse. Light brown amber color showing it’s age, but in the glass intense nose of tertiary Bordeaux without being overly oxidized. Leather, tobacco, hints of red fruits. Lots still going on. Clearly a well stored bottle and these generally are a bottle lottery in the older vintages.

  July 30, 2012 - Definately past its peak. The nose was really nice and beautiful, thus there was potential here, however there is no fruit on the palate anymore.

  December 23, 1986 - Bouquet: fruit, oak, iron, liquorice. Full bodied round and mature. Quite much acidity and also tannin powerful enough to keep this wine for a few more years. Long and creamy aftertaste.

  November 23, 1985 - Dark ruby. Mature fruity and complex bouquet with good oak. Soft wine with a firm dose of acidity, some liquorice and cassis. Long aftertaste. Definitely a wine of great class although the acidity is a little dominant.
