December 25, 2016 - Well aged Cabernet, fruitforward flavor with medium body. Red Berry nose. Mild tannins remain present. Quite a bit of sediment in the bottle.

April 22, 2015 - Meaty, Smokey Awesomeness! Little bit of leather and cedar box. Smooth, still somewhat sweet tannins. Lots of interesting stuff going on right out of the gate.

January 10, 2015 - So pleased to find this '05 still drinking strong. Classic Baldacci Cab. Balanced end to end over some six hours. Mild black cherry, subdued tannins, a hint of smoke. I like Baldacci cabs because they are consistently well balanced, leading with what I discern as black cherry on the nose and in the taste.
While Brenda's is a bit more refined, the Black Label is a sold choice, especially for the price.

December 10, 2014 - Awesome! Love it! Immediately impressive but fab after being opened a hour or so. Smooth, cool, velvety in the mouth with ripe dark fruit, coco and tobacco notes, all well integrated.

September 21, 2014 - Round the World Cab/Cab Blend Blind Tasting (My Home): After 3 hour decant. Note being written next day, so limited details. Very nice Napa Cabernet Sauvignon at a reasonable price. Nose full of fruit and alcohol. Full bodied in the mouth, good acidity and the tannins were still high. The wine is fruit forward with black fruits out front. Reasonably well balanced. Earthy and complex with graphite and other flavors on the mid-palate. The favorite wine of the evening.
