October 28, 2018 - Mid should ullage.. Cork good. Color was OK however a little cloudy.

The fruit lasted 10 min then the secondary and tiertiary notes took the lead! Incredible white pepper and dusty books was uplifting and the color regained structure and pureness. A great little surprise for lunch

February 3, 1989 - Clear blood red. Beautifully deep and developed bouquet with fruit and good oak. Little tannin, mainly drying. Some red and black fruit left. Soft and firm at the same time with a medium long aftertaste. In fact still very enjoyable with enough class and depth. Not really thick, but a good effort for the vintage and at this moment very nice drinking.

December 23, 1986 - Expressive bouquet with good oak, black and red fruits and some alcohol. Medium to full bodied. The tannin is fairly soft, but still has some power. The aftertaste offers a lot of nuances. I am quite impressed. Giving it a little more time to open up it seems to be much better than at Christies two months ago.

October 21, 1986 - Pre-sale tasting at Christies. Fairly full bodied and fruity. Good acidity. Some tannin. Might even improve a bit with ageing for 1 or 2 years.
