April 6, 2013 - Color: Medium dark purple.
Nose: Blackberry and strawberry with hints of sour cherry - slight spice in the background.
Taste: Sour cherry & violet.
Overall, its rather light - doesn't linger on the palate: the finish is rather short but sweet.
I find it very good to eat with food and in essence have turned this into a preferable form of a fruitfull table-wine. My score is increased by 3 points due to the ability for this Beaujolais to go well with meals. -
