September 8, 2013 - Loads of red fruit on the nose with oak and hints of baking spice. Pleasant, but a bit one-dimensional on the nose. The wine is rich in red fruit flavors, yet clean and dry on the palate with good acid and light tannins gripping just enough to let you know they're there. It's decent on its own, but do yourself a favor and serve this at dinner, perhaps with someone special. This wine cries for Italian cuisine.

August 24, 2013 - Good concentration, with clean, pure, dark red fruit flavors. Just a bit on the simple side, though. Doesn't exhibit a lot of secondary flavors and seems somewhat light on acid and tannin structure. Might have benefitted from decanting to open up a bit more.
