November 10, 2015 - I recently read an article that rates the 2011 Bordeaux vintage at this stage of its development as an adolescent; surly and uncommunicative. Despite this warning, I decided to try a bottle anyway and got the full force of teenage angst. A closed nose and palate, this wine gave nothing away. I can only hope that time will aid its development. In the meantime I think I'll start on the 2012s.
