October 16, 2021 - Tony's 60th Birthday Celebration (Republique - Los Angeles CA): Lots of honeycomb and apple pie with both sweet and savory spice. Very impressive depth with enough bright energy to keep it fresh. Nearly effervescent. A great bottle that had been stored since shortly after release.

September 2, 2021 - Epic Bordeaux for an Epic Birthday!; 9/1/2021-9/12/2021 (Paris & Bordeaux): The last bottle that we had of this was just rocking so I was hoping for a similar showing here. This one is more tired. A bit oxidized. Caramelized. Drinking totally fine and nice at the end of the evening.

December 2, 2020 - Fresh and nutty with brioche, orange peel, kumquat and biscuit. Drinking wonderfully with moderate complexity. 92-93

November 6, 2020 - Early celebration of a friend's 60th since we will miss the main event. This was just rocking. Started strong and got better through the night. There was some concern that it was missing the effervescence but the acid was pretty high and so it kept the wine feeling fresh and festive. Complex, nutty, delicious. Too bad we just have the one bottle.

November 30, 2019 - PR 1969 Extravaganza: Earthy, oranges, dusty chocolate and mint on the nose. Minimal bubbles but has great golden colour to it. Decent acid tang cleanses the palate, with some light fruit sweetness. Medium length. This was in excellent condition.
